Budget based flight planner
by Oliver Boermans
A brilliant example of a typical online experience turned on it’s head to address users real decision making information needs. Dragging the price slider up broadens your travel horizons. This is illustrated immediately by additional flight paths drawn on the map. The same consideration for price sensitivity is taken a step further by providing a means to preview how the time of year influences the cost of your tickets.
Great use of graphic Flash to communicate complex information. I look forward to the site that allows me to compare the products of competing airlines in the same manner!
